Seamus McFly, a teacher in a remote village on the west coast of Ireland, for obscure administrative reasons, is being transferred to a school in Dublin, the distant capital. Poor Seamus, as soon as he arrives in his new school, he will meet the mischievous Meany sisters and their simpleton cousin. Despite the fact that Seamus feels able to overcome any obstacle, he will be tested by the terrible twosome.
